SMD BOX SISO can automate SMD storage for reel materials and retrieval operation. Users just need to put material into SMD BOX SISO. Smart camera system will be triggered and read the material information whether in 1D or 2D and real-time inventory info. Inside robotics arms transfer the materials to the assigned location. Material location will be updated to software.
SISO: Single Input/Single Output. In practice, users put SMT reels to SMD BOX SISO, materials then can be loaded, stored to the assigned location without any interruption. Users can even request a group of SMT material by sending a job list/work order from MES to SMD BOX SISO and the latter one will supply you with the right material at the required time.
In the production process, whether it is for kitting, material replenishment, users only need to send Reel ID, Part number, even job list, work order, SMD BOX will unload required reels at the right time. The whole operation is automated with the help of SMF software.
MSD: Moisture sensitive devices. MSD control should be in line with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020B and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033C requirements. Without proper treatment of MSD, it will lead to quality failure. SMD BOX series not only provides the user with tracking information but also automates material storage and retrieval even with the moisture barrier bag!
